Elise Honeybrook and her partner donut delivery perth Scott Clark named Grumpy Donuts after two special people in their family: an adorable Brussels Griffon dog with a bright face.

The Filipino-inspired donut shop is a tribute to Kenneth Rodrigueza’s grandfather, who bought him donuts almost every day growing up. In 2015, feeling unable to find a dedicated donut shop, Rodrigueza decided it was a problem he had to solve. Playing around with the instructions and changing his Instagram name to Donut Papi. With new store concepts and multiple collaborations, Donut Papi shows no signs of slowing down. When asked what makes their donuts special, Rodrigueza tells us that they always like to try new things that make them unique.
Mary Street Bakery
We have crazy ideas in our heads and we want to execute them in a positive and innovative way for people to try. Sydney-siders are diverse people and love to try new things. Filipino flavors are my favorite and I love sharing my knowledge of traditional food and combining it with new donut flavors.

Keep an eye out for new and upcoming Donut Papi projects, such as Pudgy Is Vegan, a 100% vegan version of Donut Papi. It is now open at the Redfern store, Wednesday to Sunday, and the flavors on the menu include things like Lotus Biscoff Frosting, Glazed Apple Donut and Vegan Matcha and White Chocolate.
Rodrigueza also told us about the store’s newest donut concept called Donut Papito. Here, the focus is on filled donuts or “bombos”. Inspired by Italian bombolonis, these donuts have Filipino fillings including our classic pear cream custards, pandan, Biscoff, matcha, leche flan and more. Nuttie

Nutie’s donuts are mostly gluten-free and completely vegan, made from the finest ingredients and nut flours, which gave rise to the Nutie name. From homemade vegan white chocolate to delicious meringue made with chickpea water and their signature fruity marshmallows, the team know how to have fun in the kitchen.
“We’ve gotten good at challenging ourselves and our team, and we feel like there are no barriers [when it comes to] making herbal remedies. “Gluten-free bread can be a bit difficult and limiting, but now we have a great baking recipe up our chef’s jacket sleeve,” said Nutie’s owner and chef Sina Klug.
If you’re looking for something more delicious, try Nutie’s new traditional gluten-free and vegan donut. These guys are baked to order and hot every Friday and Saturday from 11am in their Balmain store for final delivery. We also see sneaky donuts topped with caramel sauce, bananas, and other delicious and tempting treats. Shortstop
Cherry Darlings
The Melbourne-based donut shop expanded to Sydney in 2016 and has grown in popularity. Using quality local ingredients like pure vanilla extract, traditional butter and seasonal fruit, Shortstop Donuts is baked from scratch in small batches throughout the day so you can enjoy them every time. In addition to the creative flavor, Shortstop prides itself on its work with the people behind the scenes. Ivey said he is proud to have an incredible team of hospitality professionals at each of his stores and expressed everyone’s love for Shortstop as a reflection of the care and dedication of the Shortstop team. A small innovation inspired by the COVID-19 has led the group to start giving gifts and there is also a new subscription service in the service called “Donut” .
